Re: favorite element
I like lightning, wind, fire, and darkness. Time is an opaque element, no one really pays attention to it.

Re: favorite element
Hydrogen.
It pretty much makes up the universe. Without it nothing is tangible, and it is the most abundant of all the elements on Earth, making a huge percent of our atmosphere; it represents 75% of all matter. When combined with oxygen, the element we all breathe unconsciously and unawares, all life is possible, through the miracle of water. Without Water, life is a joke, and thanks to Hydrogen, it's a good one. Hydrogen is also a very powerful element, that may possibly replace Oil in the energy department; and though infamous for the, Hindenburg, Hydrogen is cutting "Fossil Fuels" out of the game by being much more cost efficient, and, as I noted earlier, industrious. Hydrogen attachments are picking up among truckers and yes, for you eco nuts, hydrogen is cleaner and hardly what you call a pollutant. Hydro power in fact can be extremely useful and Hydrogen is so bountiful that the notion we will ever run out is about as funny as the thought that oil is an evil substance plaguing our Earth. Both are totally ridiculous statements. Hydrogen power is already being utilized through Water power, which is notable in the form of Dam's, and has been accessed since the beginning of civilization by creating the vast trade networks that mark the beginnings of strength in a country. These same rivers and oceans are extremely essential in today's world, not to mention, have been the epicenter of wars. It only makes sense that after "Exploiting", as they would call it if it were Oil or Coal, water so long that we would skip that nasty Oxygen middle man and jump straight into Hydrogen. Hydrogen is the simplest element yet is probably the most curious. One proton, one electron. It is often grouped by itself on a Periodic Table but sits on the same row as the Nonmetals. It's a gas, has the lowest weight of any atom in the Periodic series and is colorless, odorless, tasteless. Truely the most remarkable atom in the series if you ask me. Extremely simple, yet obscenely powerful.

Re: favorite element
...Holy crap Q. Thank you for that wonderful thesis on the chemical element Hydrogen!
