The clans are a barren wasteland of potential. Everyday they slowly lose and grind away the possibilities. I do not blame the clansmen, I do not blame the clan leaders. The blame, is of course, my fault. And I take full consequence to the fact that I messed up with the clans and didn't do enough to complete them in my haste to help make Sand bigger and stronger, I dropped the ball.
In order to reach into the pit the clans are slowly sinking into I feel I must first, don a preparation to help in the process of salvaging them. To protect the clans from further disrepair and disaster, I have thought it best to don a glove, or in this case, to change the entire system of the clans.
What I propose to do, is make the clans, into two.
The Makai, Kei, and Hizoku will become two meshed individual clans.
The current leaders will not lose their status. There will be given unto each clan, a new leader to help it, and two of the old clansmen. This I feel, will allow us to pull the clans from the chasm it has fallen and bring it to be one of the jewels of Sand. Remember, the time for testing is over. Originally the three clans were an experiment, we wondered what would keep it from being buried the farthest. Now it is time to take all we know and use it. Mist and Shadow now have clans; and rest assured storm is on the way! But we have had clans the longest, so it is time we put our longevity and experience to use!
And to do this, I think we must, albeit, mesh the three into two. It will boost the user counts and activity of each clan. It will also help make governing practices of the clans easier, and increase their importance.
Give me your thoughts to my proposition. But do not worry about the process it will occur at. I will see to it that it is fair, and just among the clans. And the leaders, as I have said, will not lose their importance here. We are just adjusting to the new WOTN, one where Shadow and Mist have prominent clans to compete with us.
