Types of Advertising-
As I explained, we are
still a small site and as Lax stated, "WE need to start off slow." I
completely understand his point and I agree as well. There are many
types of advertising, as you all should know, but I am currently using
two techniques. the first one is as a CR mod put it, "Sly Advertising."
Basically, what it is, is in normal threads, slightly mentioning the
site address while posting something on topic at the same time. I don't
prefer this one, but I try for this site.
The second technique
is known around the World Wide Web as "Instant Populated Advertising."
I prefer this technique much more, but it only works on sites that have
signatures enabled. In this one, you change your signature to ONLY the
thing that you are advertising. For example, I changed everything on my
signature to stuff about Anime Attack. Then, you populate the forums
with posts that WON'T be deleted. In other words, on topic posts.
Hopefully, your signature will be seen by many and they will use the
link.
Again, there are many types of advertising, but I am using these currently. (Post opinion if you want!)

know this doesn't sound like a lot of sources but many users come to
these three places. For now, sticking to these sites will be crucial in
gaining members and popularity. Understand my position, I need to
convince people on these sites, to do that, I need to spend a lot of
time there. But don't get me wrong! I am still occasionally looking for
sites to work my magic. If you have any sites, it would be helpful to
my cause if you posted them.
And feel free to comment on this. I
plan on only editing this post to talk about new information regarding
AA Advertising. Questions, comments, and suggestions are all welcome.
Q: Shinigami and I talked about it but I suggest that we all change our CR
avatars to an avatar that advertises AA. I am going to work on some
interesting avatars and if you have one you want and just want AA put
on it give it to me and i will put it on there no problem.
Lax:Advertise with signatures and avatars, easy as that. Register to other
forums, post there with your sig linking here, You can even get
interesting pages from this site and put it up on a search engine, so
when people is looking for a certain article, this site will appear on
their search like google. (I miss Lax)
