I would like to see shadow playing a more active role in the recruitment front. If every active member in shadow recruites at least 3 people and has those people recruit at least 3 more as well, we can put quite a dent in reaching our goal. But why stop at 3? If you've already recruited 3 people why not make 5 your new goal? Or even 10?
I know many of you are saying things like, "thats an impossible goal" or "I 'suck' at recruiting" which may be true. But why would that stop you from trying? The goal really isn't all that impossible, and i will post a few tips on recruiting in the next paragraph. For those of you who claim you do not have the time to recruit, if you have time to log on to WOTN at all, you have time to recruit. After all more recruites means more stat points for shadow members. More stats in shadow means the over all power of our village grows.
Go to gaia online and search the multitudes of naruto forums there for anyone that seems to be a fan and send them a message asking them to join. Fanfic.net is a good place to recruit from as well. But if all else fails use your favorite search engine and type in Naurto Forums, or even just Anime Forums and try to recruit from any sites that come up during your search. Remember, members of a larger site are a little less likely to join our own, so if you are recruiting from a larger site, target memebers that have not been there long. If you go to a site that appears to be dead, leave an AD where it can be seen by stragglers. If it is a relatively small site, feel free to advertise in public or through PM's to every member of the site. Sometimes you'll have to put up with people that do not appreciate your effort and will try to flame you as well as this site. Do not lower yourselves to their level. Remain civil and do not flame them in retaliation.
3 Recruits, that is all i ask. But if it is within your capability to recruit more, then you should strive to out-recruit the other members of not only Shadow but WOTN as a whole.
