All shoutoboxxes do (Another name for them I use) is split the people up. Why do you think it's so neccessary to keep people in the bar and not in the other threads?
Because the more everyone splits up the more the entire majority is hurt.
So you're saying, people might like the C-box better so they stay in there and others might come to the threads. Splitting up everybody makes it go slower.

Yes. Because there is no one direction people move in several. It's why in the hot springs I have always (Except during peaking drama days) told people to stay in the Bar. Because when we all move out of the bar the entire site slows down. The site is as fast as it's fastest thread.
And the Chatbox, also hurts because we can use posts to help advertise the site, and posts make the site larger html wise which is important for Google and Yahoo and other search engine related reasons.
And they also can hurt the site, when guests come on, see an empty chatbox, they think the site is empty and leave. At least when the site makes you register they have more of a chance of bumping into some one. Not to mention someone being offended in a chatbox and leaving. Exetera.
They decentralize the forums and reorganize them in the overall completely irrelevancy of the chatbox.

To be direct, it's not smart at all. He knows me, the only compliment I believe he has ever given me is that I know users, and I do. He should have at least come to the Kage's I think.
