Tis kinda the reason we are called 'vegan'.
It's cruel to animals to take what they need and need for their young, just to use for our own selfish needs. We were given skin to keep warm, we make clothes off the land, not animals. We have crops and plants to eat. So animals should be our companions in the world. They don't harm us, we shouldn't harm them.
