by Well, it's finally 2008. Congratulations for making it this far, everybody. Now, to cut right to the chase. This event is a battle between villages, so if you aren't in a village, I suggest you join one if you want to participate. Okay, so the deal is, the Village that recruits the most users by February 1st will win.
But, here's the catch. There will be prizes involved. I'm not entirely sure what they will be, but there will be some! Prizes will be distributed like this: If a village recruits 20 members, they get a prize. If they up that number to 50, they get an even better prize, and so on and so forth. But, the Village that recruits the most by the end of the month will get the Grand Prize, whatever it may be.
Now, here's how you do it. When you recruit a new member, have that user PM me. And yes, I would prefer it if it were only me, so that we don't have a lapse in communication and distort the scoring. Now, when that person PM's me that it was you who referred them, I will add one point to your team's score.
One other thing. Bonus points are going to be awarded to teams as well. Bonus points will be rewarded for overall good behavior, or just doing something a kage likes. Such things include but are not limited to, helping out n00bs, doing your best to keep order in the Bar, and making me laugh. Other things of course, but it's nice to add a random element to this event.
