Sorry i couldn't update, i've been doing my play after school for most of the night, then dinner, then homework, so i had no time too.

Okay, so for the first lesson we will learn about Herbs and Roots.

LESSON #1- HERBS AND ROOTS

To start off, the first lesson will be about herbs and roots. Herbs are basically leaves that grow out of the ground, used to make medicine. You can use almost the root of anything to make great medicine. You can make untouched, pill, or liquid medicine.

Untouched is when you either eat the herb or root in the form it was in when it was picked or the herb is to be simply placed on skin to help heal the wound. A pill is when you take the herb or root and cut it up into very small chunks combined together to form a pill or are encased in a clear tablet, opened to be put in the mouth of the patient. Liquid medicine is when the juices are extracted from the root/herb and made into a liquid medicine.

When picking an herb, you want to brake it off halfway on the stem. It leaves you with the leaf, and then stem you left will grow into the same herb. Whne picking a root, you want to put your thumb and index finger as close to the ground as possible and gently pull it up. Keep the whole thing because the leaves on top can make liquid medicines tasteless and then stem can be used for cooking healthy foods.

The activity for this lesson will be to go out and pick herbs and roots. Once done picking them I want you to each make a liquid medicine. I want you to tell me how many herbs and/or roots you used and the color of the liquid, then I will tell you what you made.
