Re: What book are you reading?
A World Lit only by Fire
If anyone likes history, read this book. It's about the Dark Ages and Rennaissance in Europe, and I have never really had a book that so opened my eyes to a part of history as much as this one did. Like, I didn't think the dark ages were a good time, but man....I had no idea just how SORROWFUL and Pathetic, they were. Still, it's a fantastic book. And for a book on History, it's actually pretty good.
Like did you know that people in Europe used to live in Hamlets, and that Hamlets were so interbred that people a few miles away wouldn't be able to understand each other due to the differences in dialect and languages! And that if a person left a hamlet to go to war, they had a strong chance of NEVER FINDING THEIR Way home because they were so isolated.
People in Europe may already know all this stuff, but seriously I feel quite depraved on my Middle Age Teaching. Still....Great book. And what I just posted right there, was one Paragraph of the book.

I dunno what I'm reading. Going to the library tomorrow to get a feel good or thriller story. I'm in need of both. Maybe I'll check out Dracula or something.

Ice Cold shredded in a blender and put out in front of a fire and eaten by natives. So cold
You originally said that you wanted to read them to use them against me.
I am just using what you said sorry if it came out bad
I remember but I was half kidding!
Not that you could put that past me or anything being smug like, "Ah, you lied, you lied, what now, Quater?"
Okay well sorry I lied I was just trying to use you as an example of someone who liked my book choices
You didn't lie because I did indeed say you made good choices. It's all good

A one word reply! Alright. ^_^
Actually I was pretty happy to get a reply usually I post some long love affair with a book I just read and no one replies to it. Will you really kitty?
According to Titan I make good book reccomendations, Titan being the only one I have actually made several reccomends to and often follows them hoping to prove me wrong in a debate by using it against me which has yet to work.
So Cold, so cold!
