This is the way the series works
The first season is comprised of many shor stories centering around the main characters and the same time setting, so pretty much the story repeats after every 4-6 eps (usually most of the charas die at the end, but come backalive in the next arc.) and each arc reveals mor about the central plot and in the second season, it explains in depth on what's happening and yeah, I don't want to give to much away but the story's phenominal. the second season hasn't finished yet...
