Freshmen Placement

On Agust 4-5, I have to take Freshmen Placement to see if I'm in Remedial, Avergae Joe, or Egghead classes (the last two are my names).

Basically, Remedial means below standards; Avarage Joe is for average kids who do the bare minimum; and Egghead is for the kids who are doomed to a life of being stuffed in trash cans and lockers.

Therefore, once I go into my school, I'll beat up 10 guys in a month's period and nobody will mess with me. It's f-cking foolproof.

But the test is gonna be a breeze, seeing as I've studied for two weeks straight. My brains gonna explode from the swelling TT^TT.

But, anyways, wsh me luck people. It's been a long time coming; but change has come. When people ask if Jay can change the school, you say "Yes He Can". Change has come. We're free at last, oh we're free at last.

Was it me or did the last few sentences of that post sound like some weird campaign for President Obama motto?

This is the 1st time I have ever heard of a "Placement test." ....Maaaaaaaan. Did my school just suck that bad? We never had them.

Not as strange as you might think. A lot of European schools decide what schools you go to (Smart schools or dumb ones) depending on how you do on one test.

we don't have those.

take tests on several schools; good if you pass, sucks if you don't.

I had them for high school. But not for, which school I could get into, just whch classes I'd be in.

I...never... had those. Well there was that stupid "Test out of Reading Class!!!" test that we had to take. But that's not the point.

Placement tests are kinda... stupid. And beating people up... isn't really a good thing... :// I don't care who you are. And it's not a good reputation maker, trust me, no matter how tough you think you'll look.

You want the truth of how you look? (and sorry if this is mega-blunt) You'll look like an idiot. And I don't know how to say it any other way. I know when I see someone fighting and bullying someone else, I lose a TON of respect for the person who's bullying.

And so what if you get made fun of? I'm smart, and I get made fun of sometimes. And I calmly tell them to back off, no matter how mad I get. And trust me. You earn respect far easier doing that rather than beating people up.

Don't be concerned about how you'll look or whatever you're so concerned about. You want respect, right? Not to look like a complete nimrod, and to not be made fun of? There's nothing wrong with that. But the way you handle it says a lot about you. If someone starts messing with you? Just calmly tell them to back off and walk away. Easy? Not really, it's hard to do that. But do it, and you'll get well-deserved respect from everyone.

we don't have placement tests like that. We have only math ones in grade 9 and 10, but since there is really no good math teacher for those grades it didn't matter.
