It's a sport, heck yeah~ In cheerleading you end up spraining your ankles and calves(sometimes) and it requires you to move and get active. There's tournaments for it, just like any other more defined sport.

Yeah. Try finding a guy cheerleader in a school that is like 95% Black thugs and 5% white thugs. that think they are total hardcore yo. *Not trying to sound racist or anything. There were more blacks then white in my school.*

The male version of a cheerleader is called a yell leader. I had a friend who went to an all boys school so he decided to become a yell leader so he could meet girls during football games when the cheerleaders attended the football games.
