Depending on the number of people participating, there may be different numbers of "mafia", "cops", and "angel/nurse/healer"
Everyone goes to "sleep" (or at least put their heads down) and then the "God" or the "narrator" of the game tells the mafia to "wake up" and pick a person to kill. Then they put their head down. The Cops wake up and put a person to interrogate. Then the narrator nods yes or no, which means yes, they are the mafia, or no they aren't the mafia. Then they put their heads down. The nurse/angel/healer wakes up and pick on a person to heal. Then the god tells a story and includes the person who died and wheter the nurse accurately healed the person.
Then the game goes on until the number of mafia equal the number of civilians (which includes everyone except the mafia), in which case, the mafia win, or the civilians successfully kill all the mafias.

The Cops wake up and put a person to interrogate. Then the narrator nods yes or no, which means yes, they are the mafia, or no they aren't the mafia. Then they put their heads down. The nurse/angel/healer wakes up and pick on a person to heal. Then the god tells a story and includes the person who died and wheter the nurse accurately healed the person.
Then the game goes on until the number of mafia equal the number of civilians (which includes everyone except the mafia), in which case, the mafia win, or the civilians successfully kill all the mafias.
