i dont think its gonna happen. also i dont really want naruto to go to 500 chapters cuz at the rate they're going now it'll take forever. they plan on having the big shipuuden movie in april and i think its gonna end the series.
i believe naruto goes down as one of the best anime ever no matter wat (unless kishi goes gaga

Kyuubi, the Nine Tailed Fox. Last I checked, having multiple tails and being a fox meant you were a kitsune. I'm going to assume in Kyuubi's case, that makes him a Nogitsune (One who doesn't follow Inari, in which case, a follower would be classified as a Myobu). Strictly from a theological standpoint, the only one whom is able to have 10 tails, would be the Lady Inari.
Now, the other tailed ones aren't exactly foxes to my knowledge. However, in kitsune culture, a kitsune's number of tails determines the strength. If a two tailed is more powerful than a one tailed by say... 2 times, then whatever would be 10 tailed, would be about twice as strong as Kyuubi (Maybe even moreso since Inari is a deity, and even a nine tailed kitsune doesn't get that far).
If a ten tailed were to be mentioned in here, it would likely be as strong as all of the tailed ones together. Perhaps a possible source of creating the lot of them.
