Prayer Request thread!

I have wanted to make this for a while. So, here it is. ^_^

Death and I were chatting and she agreed to help me runs it.

Basically, if you don't know what a prayer request is, it's just something that's troubling you. And no, you do not have to believe in Jesus Christ or God, or anything, to put up a prayer request. We believe, and we want to pray for you guys. So tell us whatever is troubling you here or PM it to one of us and we will pray for you about it and be there for you as best we can.

Also, it would kind of be helpful if some people who would like to remember to pray for the issues we post here, signed up or something so I could get out prayers and people can see who to talk to.

You don't have to tell us what's going on or whatever, you can just say "Unspoken" and we will just pray for any part of your life. And if this makes you uncomfortable and offends you, don't post here. Just move along. No one is being forced to prayer request but it would be really awesome if we could help the people of WOTN and this is one of the best ways I know how.

And if you're thinking about spamming here, or bashing the Christian religion, I'm going to get seriously pissed at you. This is a prayer request thread. Go debate the validity of the Christian religion somewhere else, I'll be happy to destroy you there.
I don't take this lightly, so if you're thinking about doing any of the things I mentioned above, seriously, go spam somewhere else because I'll really hate on you for the rest of your life. No once cares if you're not Christian. We can still pray for you if you have issues that are bothering you. So if you're going to be disrespectful and stupid, go somewhere else. If you do decide to post stupid things here, I'll probably delete them.

So, uhm, yeah this made me wanna say a lot of things, but since I mostly think in emotions my thoughts tend to be a little fuzzy, but I'll try to make
my little rant make as much sense as possible.'

First of all, Death, the way you frased your post kinda almost rubbed me the wrong way. You didn't straight out say 'Non-belivers or non-christians
are wrong/stupid/whatever-you personally-feel-it-should-say-here' but the post had a lot of tension it it that made ME feel uneasy.
I just wanted to say that everyone here on wotn, and in the real world, should remember that buddhists, atheists, muslims, christians, wiccans, and
everyone else is equally hurt and feel equally humilliated when someone says anything degrading about their religion or beliefs. I am not talking about you Death, so I hope you don't feel like I am, because I am talking about all of us and about people generally. Nor am I only talking about religion, this concerns music, fashion, sexual preferences,food, intrests and any other part of life you can think of.

Second, I totally agree with both of you. Don't start a religius debate in here, this is the wrong topic. Death's right, no one cares about your beliefs if you are forcing them down their throaths. Sorry if anyone felt that was what I was doing previously.

Third, this is an awesome idea, and I support it whole heartedly. Just knowing that someone cares enough to give your problems some of their time helps so unbelievably much when you are feeling down. Thumbs up!

Fourth, is this limited to 'christian prayers' only? Because I would like to help as well, but I'm not going to participate in something I don't believe in,
as I believe the one performing it have to believe it works or it won't. A lot of believes in there. Anyway, when I have a problem I feel I can't handle
I write it down on a piece of paper, and then I burn the note wishing the problem away, thus solving it. It works for me, and I would love to do that
for someone else if they feel alright with it, at the same time as you pray for them.

I hope it was undersandable, and please forgive me if I accidentally gave you a headache, that was not my intention.

Feel free to deliete this post if you think it's spam or inappropriate, I wasn't sure if this was okay or not.

I really was trying to get my tension across to the people that are just wanting to spam this thread with comments like "Praying is stupid, you Christians are dumb for believing in Jesus, etc. etc." I really don't have anything against nonbelievers because a lot of my friends are Hindu, Muslim, Athiest, etc as well.

Well it's kind of wrong in my opinion to say "If you're not Christian, you can't wish for someone's health and happiness and such". I guess you can do whatever you believe in to help the person making a request..? But I dunno, you'll have to take that up with Kazekage o_o

Just to pray to help me give up my Christmas gifts and material clinginess to help the 3 AIDS orphans my youth group adopted.

I know you don't have anything agains anyone x) That's not the impression I have of you, so don't worry! :D I know what it is that you were trying to say, and as I stated it in my previous post I may have been a little hard to understand ^^

You can pray for them, but, erm, it is prayer, so it would kind of be limited to those in a Christian faith to believe in it and in prayer. I don't know....you can help people, but, erm, *Throws spotlight on death* Death will answer it...

Personally I didn't think Death was saying the bit about attacking other religions at all, that I noticed.

But I dunno. I guess you can do what you do? Because technically, it is wishing the best for them and it'd be kind of stupid to say you can't wish for the best of people since you're not Christian and won't pray.

Oh, and my dad be in pain from a car accident. Not to mention the fact that the car was totaled and we're not getting much money for that piece of junk.
My grandpa (somewhere in the mid-80s) is having severe pain that my dad seems to think is cancer; the doctors think is gallbladder issues; my mom doesn't think it's his gallbladder and hopes it's not cancer; my grandma doesn't know what to do, she's so freaked out. Guidance and healing would be nice, there.

I knew this idea was good!

Dad's getting better and I have a new car out of the deal.
Grandpa is having surgery the day after Christmas, but it will be in "our" hospital, so he won't have to hurry home to have it. (The problem is gall stones, if I remember correctly.)
