ok first let me say spamming this topic will permanently lead to me never talking to you again

ok moving on

i was told last night to apply myself and go back to school

sounds great huh

no T_T cuz i need help badly

heres a list
algebra
geometry (proofs)
fractions
the order of operations (god i feel so stupid T_T )
english (research papers any paper anyhting really english related)

Order of opperations:

Parentases
Exponents
Multiplication
Devision
Addition
Subbtraction.

to remember it, you can use the expreasion, "Please excuse my dear aunt Sally."

Also even though multiplication comes before devision in the line-up, if devision is first in the problem you would do devision first.
Same with with add and subtract.

hmm... well i can't really help 2 much with geometry cuz i don't care for it lol

well for starters ooo is simple, just remember bedmas (bedmas is brackets, exponites , multipluy and divide then add and subtract)

im gonna try and find a practice test in the next few days so i will have a idea and so ill be pming everyone who offered help with questions alot

I can kinda help with Algebra 1 because I'm taking that. I'll help with English too if you need it.

FRACTIONS.

Adding & Subtracting:
To add or subtract a fraction you have to find the LEAST COMMON MULTIPLE of LCM of th denominator. (The denominator is the bottom number on the fraction, and the numerator is the top number or the fraction.)
Once you find the LCM, whatever you multiplied those numbers by to get the LCM, you must also multiply the numerators by. then you subtract the numerators, keep the denominators, and then simplify.
(If you need me to I will give an example.)

Multiplying:
This is the easiest.
you multiply the numerators by the denominators and simplify.

Dividing:
I hate explaining this, But I think you have to find the LCM, then you have to find the reciprical of the other number.
which is just flipping that fraction over, making the numerator the denominator and the denominator the numerator, then you multiply it. (Yes multipy. dont ask why.)

EDIT: Btw fractions are my math weakness, so sorry if i missed any.

For dividing, you don't need to find the LCM.

Dividing, all you do is flip one of the fractions, (keep change flip? Skip change flip... I think o.O)and then swap it to mulitpataion so for example (1/2) / (3/4) you change that to either (2/1) TIMES (3/4)or (1/2) TIMES (4/3) Either one is correct :]

And then you multiply across ^^
Kind of like making it into two problems.

(1/2) times (3/4)

So you take the numerators and multiply them (3) and the deominators (8) and you put them back on.

1 times 3 = 3
2 times 4 = 8

Last year History was my worst subject. but it wasnt my fault. I had like a D.

For geometry proofs, we learned to make a table that goes like so: (this is an example.

Proof

Side A=side B
Angle x=angle y
Side C= sice c
.'. (sign for therefore) Triangle ABC=triangle CDE

Something like that :P That's for proving equal triangles.
