Common Laptop Knowledgeok

so i uncovered my laptop from my dusty ass closet and it was stuck in sleep mode, the problem is the hibernate pin is stuck but i cannot seem to locate it, any help here

Ah, no. My laptop doesn't have a pin or whatever. You just press the power button. Try that maybe.

i have i held the power button and when it starts up again auto sleep mode

its a dell inspiron 1150 pretty new

ommon laptop knowledge shouldve put advanced, the hibernate pin is what signals to the computer tht the laptop isw closed and to go to sleep mode

Hmm... I think somthing similar to this happened to my mom's Sony Vaio once. Turned out it was the battery. Or battery charger. I guess you might wanna take out the battery and put it back in. And charge it and make sure it's getting charged.
