    Alright I had this quite a long time ago.

    I sent it to PF way back when and I think he liked it but we never implemented it.

    What if to do an evade one had to roll the dice to decide if it went through?

    For example. I want to evade an attack from Sado.
    I roll a dice of 12
    The other person rolls a dice of 13, overrides my evade and I have to take the damage.

    Make sense somewhat?

    Right now there is no luck in fighting. It's all very procedural.

    But this could make things, at least seem, a little more lucklike?

    We would have to reimplement the dice as well since I think they got stopped, but it'd be easy.

    Note: Regardless of whether they get to count the evade it would still count an evade.

    btw the evade should be used even if the evade was not successful to prevent people from constantly trying to evade

    Okay this one was tougher.

    An attacker will always role a dice when he attacks.

    If a defender chooses to evade then he must role dice. The higher dice role will decide the outcome of the evade and whether it went through or not. If the dice count is higher for the attacker the evade did not go through and damage must be taken. Regardless the defender loses an evade.

    If the user chooses to not evade, damage is taken, or a sheild jutsu, where no damage is taken but a shield jutsu is counted off. The dice mean nothing if an evade is not gone through.

    After the outcome of an evade is decided, the Ninja Opposite the attacker, aka the one who did not attack, will be permitted to attack and the fight continues.

    That's all we need right?

    And second why not have each poster roll on each move regardless of whether they are evading or not?

    I was thinking we could call the die number rolled their Luck Ability, or Chance Ability or something of that sort to make it easier to explain.

    Here is what we have-
    Sheilds are replacing the old evades(in that they protect you no matter what, no die needed.)
    Participant in a match must roll a die(or more if thatt is what is agreed on) before every post.
    The number of their roll is their luck ability for that attack. The higher the number the more likely an attack will land.
    If the 'defender' wishes to evade then they must deduct an evade and their own luck ability must be higher than that of their opponent.

    It is as simple as that.
