Question: Did these people actually come from other sites?

I got a few from gaia, and ff.net, and fp.net, and other sites....

But 200 stats worth? That would mean at a rate of 5 stats a user, you'd have to collect, 100 users.

100? The site hasn't even grown 100 users in a month or so. And you weren't the only one recruiting.

Well in X-Men Origins Viktor drew a smiley face into a countertop! That was a bit odd, no?

I heard about that, I think. Last year, there were these "Smiley Face Murders" in which people who were drunk (mostly uni students) and were pushed off a bridge. It looked like an accident, except for the one clue: A painted smiley face. I don't know if they ever caught the murderer(s) or not.

Here's a theory: Maybe they're copying the idea from One Piece because people will think it's some crazed otaku on a murdering rampage, when in fact it's someone who hates anime.

True. now if they had been spray painting One Peice on the wall next to the smiley or something, then that would be a better connection.
