Being a taekwondo person, I do not know the specific rules and restrictions of karate-style sparring, but from what I can see, the only reason you probably won was because of your sheer strength and size. Being a tiny person myself, you would probably send me flying in a spar but I cannot say much about your strategizing and sportsmanship.
Perhaps you should feel the burn of Hikage's spinning hook kick. It always wakes me up ^_^
But hardly the point, df. There is no honor in defeating a "noob" (No offense, layla) or hustling them. I do not care for respecting or acknowledging a champion who has manipulated, lied, and fought dishonorably to retain his or her rank.
You may have defeated a higher belt, but so has my sister, who, as a blue belt, triumphed over every single blackbelt thrown her way. So you're really not that special, once you think about it.
Like I said to des long ago, try some humility. It really goes a long way.
