no. I don't think a clan can grow that big in just a few generations. He MIGHT have been the first sharingan, but the clan existed before Konoha.

You may have a point there, but Itachi in Ch.385 said to Sasuke "... our founder father Uchiha Madara..." and also said that he's inmortal, that's why Madara is still alive. Maybe it wasn't just a few generations, personally I don't think so because Sasuke wouldn't be so shocked to know that Madara was still alive.

heres a theory, there are 2 tobi's. One of them is madara the other one the leader shapeshifted like he did with kisame and itachi and the medium for the transformation was obito's body and thats why tobi is evil and also retarted!!!
