by I'm not too sure about this, but during the recent chuunin exams, there was the choice of becoming a specialized ninja or a chuunin... And I don't see what was the point... Maybe it hasn't been done yet, but... Is there something that will come out of choosing to become a specilized ninja?

I was originally for that specialized ninja got access to more parts of the site, in exchange for they had to pay a service to the site in alignment with their rank (Not pay as in money but they had a job to do).
For example a medical ninja may be required to PM 2 people a day to get back on the site.
