Team Missions

I was just thinking about the missions on here... and i think we should be able to RP team missions... you know, with the team that we were set in for the chuunin exams.


How it works: we are given an objective, a major obsticle and any other details that the Kage wants to add, then we go RP it out and get a few stats for finishing it (in RP form).


Example:
Team: (some assigned team number...) Team 4, Seiei-Sasori-Renden(example)
Objective: Escort Joe Shmoe to His mining encampment
Obsticle: an army of assassins
Other: Client is a total pansy...have fun

Actually it wont set us apart from other sites. I have looked at over 100 Naruto RPG's and one thing that does set us apart from them? That we don't force people to RP.

If we did that we would be pushing ourself into that other RPG mold not escaping it.

We right now are different because we have chibi searches, and RP battling is only a really side thing. But if we did what Seiei is suggesting we would be no different.

I agree it would be cool if missions could be done in teams. But Role Playing teams is a definite no go for me. It's not really original as you think.

Even Way of the Ninja 2 does it.

i think the going on missions with only your team is kinda ehh. because that means only the people who took the chuunin exams could go on team missions.

but other than that, i guess it's okay.

hmm well we could be split into teams as genin... like in the series

also... i never said that people would be forced to do it...it is totally optional

that's what i meant...if we have this as an option then we'd definitly be different...and like every week or so we could have the kages set genin teams...it'd be a bit of work but it would be loads of fun in the end...plus there could be things you can only do as teams...this can be taken above and beyond missions...

Problem is even Genins don't always stay for a while and then you'd have teams of one and 2. That would be hard to work with.

Chuunin typically wont back out. And like PF I am not a fan of Roleplaying. But especially not in missions. Other RPG's do it and I don't want to copy those because they failed themselves.

I get it's an option and maybe someday but for now...I'd rather not...

i think the site is original enough...we have an exclusive manga for one...and the registration is getting higher and higher...i was never good at rping but its fun when ur REALLY bored though.

Yeah Role Playing is ok. But I am opposed to fanfictions and the lot because...well...It's just to commonplace.

and another thing.. i dont get how we'd bring this "joe shmoe" any where... or conflict with "assasines" either..

that would be very difficult..

you got that right but it could be fun anyway let's wait some time for one of us figure how to do it then we'll disgussed again hehe

i was just adding to the issue of RPG missions.

I think it would be nice to set appart an area for RPing to be more clear on where we have to and where we do not have to role play. Even if we do not get a reward at the end.

But this site isn't that type of an RPG. There are areas for roleplaying as well, but we aren't like so many other typical Naruto RPG's where you "fight" ninjas in your head and have dramatic entrances and text because that's not really how we want this RPG to be. We want it to be a cool RPG that doesn't require all that text RPing like so many others, we want ours to be a little more original and still more fun.
