Cool, amazing things you are doing in school !

okay, this probably isn't going to fly very high, but here it goes.

so if you ever just love doing something in school and want to share with others what you are doing so see the commeness of us all, post so crazy school stuff here

In math we are doing the average rate of change the formula is
ARC=f(b)-f(a) it's really cool, we have questions like find the rate of change
..........b-a (ignore the dots please)


for these whales or something if the equation for their survival is
N(t)+3t^3+2t^2-10t+600 from 2 to 6, so it's pretty fun (by the way when i did ^3 and ^2 it means squared or cubed)

it can be for any subject you want.

haha, I remember that question. it was like, 162 whales per year. whales per year! what an awesome unit!

yup, remember if you ever get a big equation it is whales/year

In CAD, I had to make a block that my teacher, told me it was going to be hard... he came back 10 minutes later and I was done... it was easy lol

Graphing:
4x^2 - 9y^2 + 16x + 108y - 344 = 0
It's awesome.

You know, I'm having a hard time of thinking up stuff for this :D

I just put the problem I was working on at the time. *shrug*
It was amazing and cool because we get to laugh at the algebra II kids having a hard time with simple graphs. ^_^

in History (French Modern history) we were watching a world war 1 film called the trenches. and they were talking about this stupid (and it is completely stupid) crawling machine. Basically it is a metal box, that is open on one side, you go it (it covers half your body) and you crawl to the enemy. You can't see where your going, and it looks ridiculous. and utterly useless it was hilarious!

I work as the paid assistant to our school's tech coordinator. Yay!

we are learning about Blood Diamonds in World Issues!

OMFG I love that movie Blood Diamond.

It's horrible how the blood diamonds were used to buy weapons for the armed rebels in Seirra Leone. :/

It is not just in Sierra Leone, but also in Angola, Liberia (which doesn't mined them but trades for and with them)

in the Democratic republic of Congo and potentially in Zimbabwe, but blood diamonds now amount to less than 99% of the overall diamond population

I was talking about the movie still, but you're right. The count of blood diamonds has dropped considerably because the diamond industries have tried to not purchase the blood diamonds. They do full background checks even.

In art, we're learning the misunderstandings and different meanings of graffiti. It's actually pretty cool. And then we actually get to create our own style and draw in these thick, hard-covered black books that she gave us(For 10 bucks).

in computer class, me and my friends draw silly pictures like cats and such, then we animate them with lash and put them online!!

it sounds like you have an amazing art class

in my drama class we are making PSA's (Public Service Announcements) and the best ones will be aired on our schools announcements :D
