Defiance was a pretty sad movie.

In my opinion, Origins wasn't as good as it could've been.

It's the best movie I've seen in quite a while.

I thought it was excellently done.

Origins was a decent action movie but it didn't really stand out. Hugh Jackman did all he could with the character but it wasn't enough to really stick out in my mind.

I felt that the movie relied too much on the fight scenes and special effects rather than adding substance to the story. This almost reminds of the later Matrix movies.

To me Hugh made the performance pretty memorable. And the action and fight scenes were added to a fairly interesting storyline to make a very exciting action flick.

They pretty much pissed on the story. The way wolverine gets his amnesia is pretty ridiculous. Tyler Kitsch portrayal of Gambit was laughable. The only person I really liked was Sabretooth's performance. That was a pretty good job.

I figured, that was why.

It seems these kind of movies can never please the comic book like people.

This doesn't really have anything to do with the comic. I know directors will take liberties with the source material. I can probably sum up the movie in a couple of lines. Wolverine wanders around, thinks about Sabretooth, does some fighting, wanders around, more fighting, and finally more wandering. That's a pretty crappy movie in my opinion.

I guess I'm just used to a higher quality of superhero movie like Iron Man and the Previous X-mens, excluding the third one.

I disagree. ^_^ But, I guess that works for you. I don't know. Maybe I have a different taste in movies. But I personally like it when movies have a lot of fighting. Too many flicks these days have one real battle and one half a battle in the beginning and the rest is crap.

Personally, this was the best of the X-Mens.

and next you'll probably say that godfather III was the best in the godfather series.

Haven't seen em. I would say that Batman 2 The Dark Knight is the best of all the batman movies, if that's close enough?

I guess I just have a different opinion of a great movie.

You've seen a lot more movies than me, though. You are a movie entrepreneur. I am a simple peasant who likes to be impressed with flashy action scenes, an intriguing storyline, and a message I can agree with.

Animals that talk generally freak me out, just like talking cars, especially ones with faces.

Cars was a screwed up movie.

I don't mind when the Transformers talk, though.
