    Past

    The past is old and new,
    Through and through.
    It's filled with mistakes,
    With high and low stakes.

    Filled with tears,
    And everyone's fears
    Filled with misery
    And everyone's stories

    Of freedom and joy
    Everyone's a different story
    Of love and sorrow
    That could reach a million 'morrows

    Of pain and guilt
    On to which anger is built
    Them from anger to glad
    From glad to sad.

    From good to bad memories
    memories of good simply,
    to live forever and ever
    they die never

    For they live on
    Till way after we're gone
    They will never expire
    because they live in hearts attire

    From which dreams inspire
    They never tire
    Or grow farther away
    They are here to stay.
